Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) encourages the widespread use and diffusion of its medical guidelines.
MSF’s medical guidelines are published in English, French and in such other languages as may be required by MSF’s operations, and they can all be accessed on MSF’s website at the following address: http://medicalguidelines.msf.org.
MSF medical guidelines may be translated into any other language by third parties only with prior written express permission of MSF. Please direct permission to translate requests to the following email address: msfguidelines-webmaster@msf.org.
In all cases, on any and all MSF’s medical guidelines translated by third parties an additional clearly positioned notice must appear identifying the document as translated by a third party and specifying that MSF cannot be held responsible for, and expressly disclaims any and all liability for, any direct, indirect and/or consequential damages as a result of and/or in connection with the translation, the publication and/or the use of the MSF’s medical guidelines translated by third parties.
Neither MSF’s name, nor its acronym or logo or any adaptation of MSF’s trademarks may be used on any MSF’s medical guidelines translated by third parties without MSF’s prior express written consent.
In the event that any third party modifies or revises the text of any of the MSF’s medical guidelines in any way, and/or uses the MSF’s medical guidelines in connection with the creation of any tool or application not specifically and expressly authorized in writing by MSF, MSF may be listed, under MSF’s prior express written permission, as only a contributor to, not an author of, the modified text, the tool or the application and an additional clearly positioned notice must specify that MSF does not endorse such modifications, revisions, tools or applications, and that MSF is not responsible for, and expressly disclaims any and all liability for, any direct, indirect and/or consequential damages as a result of and/or in connection with such modifications, revisions, tools or applications, and the use which may be made of them.
Under no circumstances may MSF's name, acronym and/or logo or any adaptation of MSF’s trademarks be used on any modified or revised MSF’s medical guidelines or on any unauthorized tools or applications.
MSF periodically adds, changes, updates and improves the medical guidelines on its website. Prior to any translation, modification or revision by any third party of the MSF’s medical guidelines or any incorporation into any tool or application not specifically and expressly authorized by MSF of the MSF’s medical guidelines according to the above mentioned conditions, please consult the MSF’s medical guidelines that can be accessed on MSF’s website at the following address: http://medicalguidelines.msf.org.
